Hugh Cornwell with Mike Gent opening ~ 2009 September 13 ~ T.T. the Bear's, Cambridge, MA
Review
Hugh Cornwell, formerly of the band the Stranglers, came to T.T. the Bear's with a punkily dressed and very skilled bass player and a drummer with flying hair. They were a particularly good band to photograph. Hugh himself was by far the least interesting to look at. They played a loud and fast set of rock 'n' roll. I wasn't familiar with his music before going to see him, but I visited his website and availed myself of the free download of his newest album Hoover Dam.
Mike Gent (of the Figgs) opened the show, a solo set with guitar.
