Review
The Narrows is high up on the fourth floor of an old mill building in what was once a manufacturing town, and it is also high up on my list of favorite venues. You can bring your own food and drink, they sell delicious desserts, and it's all nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers.
I was not familiar with Sara Watkins, but her Youtube videos looked interesting. She's a folkie, cute as a button, plays the fiddle and sings. Her brother is in the band, plays guitar, and sings backup (and lead on a song or two). There were also two veteran guys in the band, on bass and drums. They play pop-country; great fun, very enjoyable.
The show was opened by a singer/songwriter/guitarist named Kina Grannis.
