The Grand Slambovians arrived just a few minutes before the scheduled start of the show, unpacked and set up and soundchecked in a hurry, and started the show almost an hour late. Turns out they had only gotten a few hours of sleep. It was all in a good cause. Faced with a deadline from their record company, just this morning they finished putting together the sound files and packaging for their new CD, Box of Everything, which is a compilation with three new tracks to be published by Sony.

It was a very cold night, and there were some empty seats along the wings of the room, but new fans seemed to enjoy Joziah's endearing banter, and although the show started late, was rather abbreviated, and a bit sloppy too, everybody had a good time. Joziah repeatedly referred to the loyal fans as "the tribe," as if he were asking us to take one for the team. It's easy to forgive these guys (and gal) having an off-night, considering the exciting news that the new album is done and a release date of around April 1 is expected.
