Review
Since 2004 when we first heard Ray Mason play, Concert Going Partner and I make the effort to catch his shows when he travels to our part of the state. Hudson doesn't qualify as particularly close, but we were feeling like checking out a new venue.
It turned out to be a nice place. There were two rooms, one the music listening room, the other a restaurant. Décor consists of many interesting and colorful paintings of Greek landscapes and that sort of thing. They had a good, reasonably priced menu. It was a nice place to hear some music.
An employee told us we had just missed Governor Deval Patrick, who had made a campaign stop at the restaurant.
Ray played a random selection of good songs from his lengthy catalog. Most of the rest of the audience were also friends/fans of his. It was a lot like listening to him in his living room. He plugged in the trusty old Silvertone (celebrating 43 years of playing music), but sang without a microphone.
