Review
The Circus played one of their best shows yet in this folk venue in a church basement at the First Parish Church in Plymouth. The church is on the hill overlooking Plymouth Harbor, on the site of the oldest church in New England -- dating from the original Plimoth Plantation founded in 1620. Joziah thought the history of the place was very cool. It's a good big stage -- lots of room for the band's many instruments -- and the sound was excellent. Tink's backing vocals were easy to hear -- which is not always the case. I also enjoyed the selection of songs more than at some recent shows, performing songs like "Sullivan Lane," "Baby Jane," and "Look Ma No Hands." It was my Concert Going Partner's birthday, and what better way to celebrate than with a night like this. A great show!
