Thee Midnight Society played a solid two hours of known hits from generally recent decades.
Review
For the second Thursday in a row, the Buzzards Bay concert series presented an excellent local band who played a wide variety of hit songs while performing at the gazebo in the shadow of the Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge. Today's weather was threatening but only a few sprinkles of rain intruded on the audience's enjoyment of these four performers' music.
TMS, as they are called, played for the most part a more recent selection of songs than the Jody Moore Band, last week's performer. This is probably due to the relative youth of the musicians, especially the young man who is the lead singer, who is a fairly recent graduate of Upper Cape Tech School in Bourne. He sang and played guitar on some songs and a tambourine on others, and entertained the crowd with his rambunctious and outgoing personality. This band is obviously very popular in the local area and they were well received by the crowd, some of whom were probably former classmates of the lead singer. The lead guitarist also took a lead vocal on a few songs.
