Review
Another great coffeehouse venue in a church, an easy drive from my cozy Cape Cod home by the little picture lake. There had been lots of snow on the other side of the bridge, and the parking lot was like a maze, with the six-foot high snowdrifts marking off parking spots.
The performance space was the church hall, with folding chairs set up. The sound was exceptionally good, and the Circus had a very good light show which seemed especially attractive. At one point in the first set Tink mentioned that it was Sharkey's birthday. After the band took their usual intermission, and had come back on stage to start the second set, the audience broke out into a carefully planned chorus of "Happy Birthday" to Sharkey. He seemed genuinely pleased by the serenade from all the adoring little Slambovians.
